About the series

Making over Maui is a new web-based series focusing on local companies making positive changes in the lives of others in the Maui community.  Through the power of a “makeover” we will show examples of the talent and positive  influences that local businesses exhibit to the Valley Island.  The series will take the audience to new locations around the island each week as we deliver “makeovers” of people, places, and businesses within our community.  Making over Maui will debut a  new segment (5-8 minutes in length) each week on mauimagazine.net.
 
Making over Maui is produced by SilverShark Media and hosted by Lia Krieg and Sarah Cravalho.

About Lia

Born and raised on Maui, Lia Krieg is a cast member in the acclaimed stage production "'Ulalena" in Lahaina. A former Miss Maui, she has been seen around the state in various musicals, bands, and corporate events. Lia holds a Bachelors in Biology, and is currently obtaining her Masters in Education from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.

About Sarah


Sarah Cravalho was born and raised on Maui.  She is a happily married, mother of two, professional hula dancer, business owner and youth leader.  In her abundance of spare time, she is obtaining her Masters Degree in Sustainability.  Four time NASA title holder, Sarah can also be found where ever there are waves!
